Know Your Rights About Privacy Laws

HCC Life Holds First TPA Advisory Board Meeting

May 15, 2005, the HCC Life Insurance Company TPA Advisory Board met for the first time at the Broadmoor Resort and Spa in Colorado Springs. The Board is composed of HCC Life staff and producers from across the country, with board members changing annually. Advisory board meetings are held once a quarter and will rotate among the HCC Life regions. Health Care Costs - Is the Decline Over?

Recent reports on private health insurance costs indicate that growth has leveled off after a period of acceleration,  culminating in a peak increase of 13.9% in 2001.  Still, the premium growth of 8.2% in 2004 continued to outpace growth in the economy and workers' income by a significant margin.  The high rate of health spending is the underlying cause for the continued high cost of health premiums.
