Mike Holthaus is responsible for managing producer relationships and generating new business sales for the Northwest and Southeast Regions.  Prior to joining HCC Life, Mike was with Allianz Life for more than 13 years.  He held several roles in the sales area including managing the employer stop loss product in the Southeast region.  Before transitioning to sales, Mike spent five years underwriting employer stop loss coverage.  He started at Allianz Life as a Claims Consultant and handled employer stop loss and HMO reinsurance claims for two years.  Mike's insurance career began with Mutual of Omaha in Minneapolis, where he held several positions.  Mike earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Iowa.
