Joe Kipp is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Dallas office, including managing the underwriting, marketing and sales administration functions. Joe began his career in the insurance industry after graduating from the University of Iowa in 1989. He initially began in the customer service area of a TPA in Des Moines and was quickly promoted to the underwriting department. After learning the ropes in basic underwriting, Joe took a position at The MGU in 1992 as a group underwriter. He took on several roles while at The MGU, including being promoted to Senior Underwriter and eventually Underwriting Manager. HCC Life then acquired The MGU in 1997.
