Holgate Dean joined HCC Life in September 2007 as Regional Vice President of Sales and brings more than 28 years of underwriting and business development experience to the organization. Prior to joining HCC Life, Holgate cultivated a solid background in underwriting before transitioning to sales while working for various stop loss carriers and managing general underwriters. He also helped establish a leading underwriter and medical management firm where he worked for several years in its sales management division. Most recently, Holgate was Director of Sales for Private Healthcare Systems (PHCS)/MultiPlan where he led the account executive team in the West region. Holgate earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut, is licensed in both the Life & Health and Fire & Casualty industries, and is an active member of organizations such as the Orange County Employee Benefits Council, the Southern California Employee Benefits Planners, and the Self Insurance Institute of America (SIIA). |
