Greg Demars leads the Healthcare Risk Management Division of HCC Life Insurance Company.  Prior to joining HCC Life, Greg was Vice President and Divisional Financial Officer for the Health Products Division of Allianz Life, an HCC Life acquisition.  Greg joined Allianz Life in 1992 as an health actuarial student and for several years focused on pricing and evaluation of group life and health products.  At Allianz Life, he also held positions in actuarial financial reporting, life reinsurance pricing, underwriting, product actuarial management and other senior management roles before becoming VP and Divisional Financial Officer.  Greg is a Fellow in the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.  He frequently presents at actuarial and industry conferences and is a volunteer for the Reinsurance Section Committee within the Society of Actuaries.
